    • as the name suggests, cool dive bar a bit out of the way but we've never gone here and not come across some Key Deer in the side roads on the way. Some of the best pizza in the keys. Look for our dollar bill tacked to the wall on the left of the front door, but get change and add your own!

Bridge jumping - Sugarloaf Key

  • There is a great 20-25’ bridge jump located 10 min drive from the house
  • How to get there
    • Put “Old State Road 4A, Summerland Key” into your GPS - and park on that road just after the right hand turn from Sugarloaf Boulevard 
    • Walk through the yellow gate and down the fire road for ¼ mile to the bridge
    • Please note that this is for swimmers only - as there is a strong current

Big Pine Key - mile marker 30

    • You can find them everywhere in the side streets of Big Pine Key
    • Please drive extra slow - they are protected - and if you hit one there is a HUGE fine

Beaches/Parks

    • Bahia Honda translates as Deep Bay
  • Blue Hole 
    • cenote-like pond that is the largest body of fresh water in the Keys. If you are wanting to see an alligator, this is your best bet.
