House guide - 1st floor

Getting in/locking up

  • Access key can be located in a lockbox attached to a wooden support pole underneath the stairs. You will be provided with the codes on arrival.
    • A second key can be found inside the house
    • To our knowledge, it is impossible to lock the door from the outside without the key
    • The front door can be a bit fussy, and will be replaced eventually but there's a surprisingly long wait to get something like this done in the Keys to meet hurricane standards! The handle can be a bit loose so be gentle. To lock from the inside, pull and hold the handle up, then lock the deadbolt.
